Okay, if it has an extended gamut, what is sRGB about it? Does it share

primary hue angles? Primary saturation proportions? Something?
Does esRGB usage refer to anything other than images from digital cameras?
Is this possibly just another way to use the data in the sYCC JPGs that
digital cameras create? Currently, that sYCC data is simply
transformed/clipped into sRGB when the file is opened, but the Epson Print
Image Matching PS plugin is supposedly using sYCC colors outside sRGB, so
I'm wondering if this "PIMA standard" is meant to be more industry standard
than PIM is. So, instead of outputting the processed image data into a
current-usage standard working space, they output it to their own
newly-created space, just like Epson does.
Yes, I realize I'm just guessing as to its purpose, but I haven't seen other
comments yet that make more sense. :)
