ProfileMaker 5 (ProfileEditor)

I have made a custom Gradation Curve in ProfileEditor, so that the output of
a Xerox 3535 can mimic the sRGB output of the Xerox 7700. And actually, I
did a pretty good job. I performed the edits on a Word Document
(Postscript-to-PDF-to-Photoshop) in the colorspace of the 3535 and saved in
LAB. And I performed the edits on the LAB-to-CMYK table in ProfileEditor and
saved my Gradation curves. When I went to save the profie, I selected Manual
Mode and applied the edits to all three intents for the Lab > CMYK (B2A) &
CMYK > Lab (A2B).

I can't see the edits in Photoshop CS, using softproof. What am I doing
wrong? I would like to be able to softproof the changes and have them
applied when printing thru this profile.
