Remote Desktop-Which Monitor Profile?

I'm not certain about Apple Remote Desktop but I suspect it's the same
as Timbuktu and just sends the raw RGB screen data from the OS9
machine out to your monitor.
So in non color managed apps there would be no profiles applied. If
you have the ability to set a display profile in the Trident software
you would want to set the profile for the OS X machine (build it on
the OS X machine, then move it over to the OS 9 machine).

Steve
Thanks Steve,
That was going to be my next question, which profile to pick in
Trident. I did create my display profile in OSX so I moved it over to
the OS9 machine and selected it in Trident.
Everything is a little slower but it all works and I can have the scans
saved to my OSX computer.
I am also wondering if anyone has ever used the Scan Server software
that came with Trident 3.x.x? Apparently it came on the install CD but
I downloaded my software from the old Howtek web site and never did
receive a CD, just the dongle. ScanServer lets you set an IP address
for the Scanner and then you could access it from any computer on the
network. Since Trident 3.x.x is no longer supported I'm wondering if
anyone has the installer or could share experiences using the scanner
in this way. Please contact me off list if you do.
Thanks,
David Wollmann
