Try calibrating to Gamma 2.2, Native Whitepoint, thats really the
most satisfactory choice for PowerBooks.

Well, using the settings above will improve this, updating to a newer
version of OptiCAL will improve this... beyond that you should realize
that you are describing the most demanding (and most artificial) image
for a monitor to display, and you are displaying it on a monitor that
has been compromised to reduce thickness and weight.
That's what I figured.
PrintFix
At first launch, it asked for the serial #, which I entered. Upon
clicking OK, Photoshop CS immediately crashed.
I could go over some possible tech support solutions, but this isn't
really the best venue for that. Either contact me privately, or call
CV tech support.
Got squared away. I was advised that there is a big fix specifically
for this in the updates section.
