I'll see about creating a page specific to ColorSync.

Hi John,

I am not asking you to put the technical details into the sales
literature for OS/X. But I still think that the Microsoft web page
(obviously targeted at developers or those interested in technicalities)
is way more concise and comprehensive than what Apple has to offer to
developers about and around ColorSync.

Maybe I missed some important section on the website?

Ironically you've captured the intent precisely.

We don't want users to think about color management. We want it to be
automatic. Some bugs not withstanding, this is in place in Panther. For
those that do want to think about it, see the developer web site.
