Hello Neil
Thanks for the reply.
About color management with Gimp-print, could you tell me if i am right:
i can use Photoshop or colorsync utility to colormanage from my image
space (AdobeRGB) to a supposed printer space.
But to what printer space ?
You would need to generate your own profile. Gimp-Print doesn't
generate the same output from a given input that the Epson driver
does, so profiles for Epson's drivers will do you no good.
I don't have the printer space profile (given with Epson Mac Os9
drivers: "Epson Stylus Pro 7500 watercolor...") in my list, should i
install it manually (as we do on PCs) ?
Then i should do adjustment for the paper if i use matte instead of
watercolor ?
Or if want to make my own profile, is there a chance to get something
correct starting with the wrong paper information given to the printer
?
Yes, because the printer per se does nothing color-related with the
information -- it's the driver that handles everything.
