Hi all,
Is it possible to apply color management when printing a PDF file with
Acrobat Reader?
This is the workflow:
- Export PDF from InDesign with 'leave color unchanged' and 'include
profiles'. The objects in the PDF are mostly in AdobeRGB.
- Print the PDF to different printers, mostly a QMS 6100 color laser.
The printers are profiled, and printing from Photoshop/InDesign/Quark
works fine, but I haven't been able to find any method of telling Acrobat
Reader what the profile of the laserprinter is.
Would the same method that was just mentioned in the iPhoto thread apply
here too, perhaps? Other tricks?
Thanks, Wim
(ps & ot: Did anyone ever find a solution to the 'InDesign 2+ refuses to
print multiple page documents to QMS printer' problem? The workaround we
now use is either distilling to Acrobat 3 or using an AppleScript to
split the print job into single pages, both not very practical...)
