If it's a trade-off, every printer will sacrifice some "crisp transparency flattening" to keep black.


Just move up to InDesign 3, you now, the open standards text management and color management publishing platform -:).

(Try looking up www.unicode.org and let me know if you can find Quark in the list of companies that support open standards encoding. It must be my eyesight, but I can't.)
