Have you checked to make sure your rendering intent is the same for
both preview and convert to profile? That can and will make a huge
difference depending on the image.

Does anyone have an explanation why a preview with a profile in
Photoshop
will look different than the same image then converted with the same
profile? Our RGB (Lambda) profiles doen't seem to do this, just some
profiles for out large format Epson printers. It doesn't seem to be
screen
related (we've seen it before where zooming in to 100 percent can
eliminate
texture differences that can "fool" the screen.)
The Preview with profile seems to be a more accurate screen match than
the
profiled image on screen.
On a similar note, we've experimented changing the preview componant of
these profiles (With ColorFlow Profile Editor) and it seems to have no
effect.
Any thoughts or ideas?
