Which instrument are you using? I have seen this show up with instruments that don't filter UV. This is not the brightener problem which ProfileMaker will detect and compensate for.

This has been a problem that I've seen on every single profile I've built with ProfileMaker, including the current version. It doesn't make any difference whether I filter UV or not. I've tried measuring both with and without UV with a Spectroscan.
When I last talked with Gretag about this, they acknowledged that the phenomenon exists but didn't go quite as far as calling it a bug, but I think it is. Gretag's only suggestion is to edit the profile, which I now do to every single profile I make,
RGB or CMYK. I see this on virtually every type of profile, including those for inkjets with or without optical brighteners, Fujix and Lightjets on any media.
To me, this is an obvious error in how they map these light saturated colors. When you are in the Edit module using the Selective Color correction, it's easy to both fix and see. The easiest place to look for it is in the highlight in the compact
disc in the PhotoDisc test image or in a step wedge of saturated yellows.
