Do you think this would also apply to larger print sizes? I have to down
sample my files to print them at 360 ppi for 16x20s and 20x25s (medium
format scans printed on Epson 10000). I have been using the common
assumption that 360 ppi would yield the best print. I'll have to try it out
for 16x20s at 480 ppi (which would still be a slight downsample, ~260 to
210MB). I was just wondering if you had already done this 360/480
comparison for larger prints. Thanks,

I've seen a benefit to sending 480 ppi to the Epsons if
you're printing fairly small sizes (up to 8x10) you're careful about
sharpening and you have real data for the pixels (no upsampling to get to
480 ppi).
