Thanks for the complementary informations on 720 ppi native resolution
for the desktop printers and on the conversion mode for 16 bit files.
Bruce, does it mean that I should first convert, say a 16 bit Adobe RGB
file to, say my Epson 1290 standard profile, and then print from this
profile with the specific paper profile, or better: convert the 16 bit
file into the Epson paper profile, and print using "same as source"?
(instead of printing straight 16 bit ARGB files to paper profile)
+I've seen a benefit to sending 480 ppi to the Epsons if you're printing
fairly small sizes (up to 8x10);
Is this number of ppi chosen for the simple resampling ratio mentioned
earlier?
