Look, I'm not speaking of glossy magazine quality here, just proofs I
can give to the model's agency to make them happy. But when it gets to
the point where a system which was ok 1 month ago and hasn't been
updated is now, yet again, printing garbage, then I have a problem.
Maybe something happened to the hardware - but what and when ?
Shouldn't there be a procedure that warns me ? Do planes just fall out
of the sky every time a fault develops ? Do cars run out of oil
without warning ? Is Microsoft now the gold standard for systems
reliability ? Would you trust a plane that was as reliable as your
computer ? Engineering isn't only about building bleeding edge
systems, it's also about securing them so that children can go play in
elevators.
