I'm running my CG21 at 95 Cd/m2.

I have not tested for this effect. On my CG21, I don't get any banding at
all levels of the grayscale or RGB scale.

Yes, it does. Keep an eye on BasICColor Display v3... If I't not already
out. It does wonders with a CG21.
