I called the X-rite sales number 888.749.9944 and
spoke with someone who after some time was able to tell me that the version I
own is equivalent to the platinum current version and the upgrade price would
be $200.00. I was more than satisfied with this price. Because I have the
purple dongle they said a new dongle would be included. I believe they also
said that this was a free upgrade from 4.6 but don't hold me to that.>
I have the same thing, 4.5, which like you said is
really equivalent to the current platinum version in terms of features. I’d
pay $200 in a heartbeat for the upgrade V4.7, I’ll give them a call.
