Hmmm....I don't know. If the 9600 is anything like the speed of a 7600,
which I think it is, I think you'd be looking at closer to 35-45 min.
(720dpi, uni-directional). Last test I did on a 7600, a 20x24" proof
took something like 23 min. to print at 720dpi, 50+ min. at 1440dpi.
I've always stuck to using uni-directional printing to avoid the
possibility of vertical banding, particularly with...well, I won't name
the RIP!
The print time at 2880dpi is better measured in hours, not minutes!
If you're looking for productivity, better look at the 10600 instead of
either the 76/9600 printers. 10600 is on the order of 2-2.5 times
faster.
