I think this is simpler than it seems.

Bibble mustn't be using your monitor profile at all - in other words it does not have color managed display.

In order for Photoshop to look like any non-color managed application, you need to blast color straight out to the monitor unmanaged, which is basically how they suggest you set it up.

He really should update Bibble to manage color on display....
