Ricardo, it's been a while but what I remember MOST about EFI ColorWise is
that when creating your profile, it is imperative that you select 'Match
Copy" for the CMYK simulation when outputting your target. Although
selecting, "None" seems to be the logical choice, that setting uses the
internal calibration curves, while the Match Copy setting bypasses those
curves.

I'm using a Canon 1140 with a Fiery Z400 from EFI. I 've created an output
profile for the printer and a simulation (reference) profile from Cromalin.
I use a DTP41 and ProfilkeMaker.
If i make the color conversions using Photoshop, transforming from Cromalin
to the Canon profile, everything works fine, the problem appears when i try
to put the profiles inside the RIP using ColorWise from EFI. There is little
color shift, but it is easy to correct, the major problem is that the RIP
does not respect the Maximum Ink I define in ProfileMaker, then , if someone
uses a 400% CMYK, the tonner does not fix on the paper.
I know i can use Heavy Paper and so on, but i would like to know why the RIP
does not convert the profiles the way other RIP do.
The canned profiles that came with the RIP works fine, but the color are
different from what i need.
Any ideas how to control the CMYK maximum ink ?
Thanks in advance.
