Yes. But why force the conversion to AdobeRGB? I find AdobeRGB no safer for
blindling passing color documents around than sRGB or ColorMatchRGB in a
world where most folks turn off their color settings or completely disregard
colors on their screen (I don't want to sound pessimistic). If it was me,
after converting to my choice of RGB working space from my custom scanner
profile, I would not try to bend over backwards to make yet another move to
some synthetic space to hedge my bets in the likely events that someone
opens up my RGB work of art and completely ignore the embedded profile. Be
it eciRGB or DonRGB or betaRGB or proPhotoRGB or whoemeverRGB, you have to
draw the line somewhere. I know I want to have a life ;-)
