I wonder what do you mean by "cleaner" ; an input profile is accurate
or not, it's not supposed to be 'flavored' like sometimes separation
profiles are. If you choose an appropiate RGB working space (one that
could contain all the input gamut) then your colorimetric transform
(from camera profile) should give you the true captured colors.
No need for Camera Back to set the white point, the profile will
compensate for that.
