Sorry for having to keep this string running but there is ONE other issue that I cannot seem to fix - by the way, thanks to all of you who referred me to the 1.2.5 upgrade. I was finally able to calibrate the Artisan successfully using the Photo,D65,2.2 ColorSpace. The problem that persists is that I still cannot SAVE a Custom profile.
For example, I would like to change the above ColorSpace ratio, so I click on Custom and change the default 400:1 to 500:1, rename the ColorSpace, and click SAVE.....
But thats it... The window disappears and I see no evidence of the profile in the Artisan Dialog and a search for it within the computer (Mac OS 10.3.7) comes up empty. Could anybody lend some MORE advice (again sorry) on why this might be happening?
I am now wondering if this monitor is as NEW as it was advertised to be. I received everything in its original containers, bags, etc. but you never know. Is there a way to verify that the monitor has not been refurbished, used, etc.
Sorry for more inconvienence but PLEASE HELP if you can....
P.S. What about all of the "on-screen" controls such as Contrast (mine is set to 100), individual RGB Brightness Controls, and individual RGB Contrast Controls? Should these be configured BEFORE calibration and/or how do they interact? When and Why are they needed?
Much Appreciation to all,
Cody Thomas
