Subject: Re: edit input profiles
This version of Profiler will not edit input profiles. Can input
profiles be edited?>
Yes, but not with any version of Monaco Profiler...output profiles
only. Gretag's Profile Editor will do it, as will others, but you
might be better off confirming the scanner set up is valid and then
re-profiling (and perhaps updating to Profiler 4.7.2).
I was thinking of starting over but that was a much longer path and I
will need new targets, the ones I have are expired. The profiles do
work fairly well it just sees the greens as too yellow. Yes, this is an
older version of Monaco. I've been looking in to updating but so far my
requests to Xrite about updating the software have fallen on deaf ears.
This is a loaded question but what changes in version 4.7.2 would make
it worthwhile to upgrade Monaco from v3.2? It does not edit input
profiles so perhaps getting something else makes more sense, an editor
or even switching to a new profile and edit package. I have recently
taken over this department and I want to update a number of things and
will be putting together a wish list.

Have you considered using Photoshop instead of using a third party
profiling
app to edit the greens in the original target? And then use the
edited
target in Profiler to make a new scanner profile?
I had thought about altering the greens in the target scan but since
these were done by someone that is no longer here I don't have access
to those original scans.
Thanks for the help....
