That is in an ideal world, Graeme. Start out with some IFRA profile
downloaded from www.color.org and chances are (I know you do, but) you don't
necessarily have a Spectroscan (not everybody has one) to do your proofer
profile, so much for measuring the source and destination with the same
spectrometer. It's a far-fetched example, you might say, but in reality
there are many profiles that are used in the field, that people interchange
freely, that are undocumented as far as instruments used to generate them is
concerned. That's why I am a big proponent of parameter tags.
