I think Epson isn't really interested in selling RIPs anymore
It works apparently with the Epson driver and the Epson RIP.
It can still be used for "RGB" custom profiles for third party papers (and
inks) based on the same driver settings.
Would there be any point in that? If the utility is simply correcting minor
printer-to-printer variations in 'linearization' or whatever, surely the
creation of a new custom profile will take care of that. On second thoughts,
yes there would be the advantage that you could use that same custom profile
on a second calibrated printer and distribute that profile to other
calibrated printers.
The big question is: are the linearisation tables still working with the
Epson driver CM switched off ?
Don't know. It won't work in ABW mode - it has to be in color mode.
