It's frustrating. It might possibly help if they could give me their LJ
profile so I could soft proof it in Photoshop - or maybe that wouldn't
help either - but apparently it's an internal thing. I sat down at
their Mac that was feeding the LJ and where they "tweek" the files for
output, and snuck a peak at the color profiles available (G3, OS9, PS6)
and it was totally generic with the exception of the LaCie profile. So
I guess they're telling it straight.
Are you familiar with the LightJet close-loop calibration? This sounds
like something from the bad old days.
