Hello all,
The Roland FJ 500 is a very capable device when it is driven with capable
software.
Same applies to the Epson printers when driven with the AbsoluteProof and
the Extrachrome Ink set.
The Extrachrome Ink Set is available for the Epson 4000, 4800, 7800 and
9800.
Here below are links to Hexachrome Profiles made for these devices and you
can have a look at how the Orange and Green inks expand the gamut of those
devices.

These devices can easily match over 90% of the Pantone colors when driven by
AbsoluteProof. (below 3de)
Here is a link to results of Pantone matching of the Epson 4000 Extrachrome
using the Profile mentioned above. 1109 colors were measured, 100 colors
edited (once)

Hexachrome/Extrachrome truly delivers in a Proofing environment as well as
in Fine Art Reproduction.
For Proofing you can use a CMYK Source Profile for the CMYK information and
AbsoluteProof's Multicolor Engine handles the Pantone colors and ensures the
best possible Pantone matching according to the Proofers Colorgamut.
Hexachrome Profiles can also be used as a source profiles .
For Art Reproduction RGB files or Lab files are processed and matched to the
best ability of the device.
For more information check our website or contact a local dealer.
