Yes, it is possible that some participants on this list are generally more
interested in proofing for lithography, as you pointed out earlier, but it
does not preclude our interests in using an Epson for pure esthetics
consideration, such as photography. Case in point, GMG Colorproof RIP. I
know that some list participants argue against the value of such RIP's main
technological advantage, namely the iterative proofing nature of the
correction involved, to accurately nail a certain color reference set down,
but I was both surprised and pleased to discover that GMG's successful
approach was also available for RGB imagery! Imagine, iterating AdobeRGB to
Epson conversion down to less than dE 1? It's mind boggling.
