There is nothing, to my knowledge, in a RIP like ColorBurst that will keep
it from supporting the non-UV version of the EyeOnePro. If that's the case
then this is the silliest thing I would have ever heard in the realm of
color management. Have you tried with your non-UV EyeOnePro to see if it
works?
