Wide indeed. I think we could all agree (OK, I'll agree with myself!)
that the dE figures quoated can't be considered adequate for
achieving even a reasonable proof-to-press color match. Is this not
unlike lowering the grading curve to the point that EVERYBODY in the
class passes and nobody fails?
If this is indeed the tolerance promoted by Fogra, then I'm not sure
what it is I'm to "understand" about how meaningful Fogra proof
verification is intended to be. I would agree with Mr. Sherfield that
the values quoted should be cut at least in half to have any meaning
at all. The paper tolerance scares me the most...3 dE? are you kidding?
