BasiCColor Display 4.0 vs BasiCColor Display 3.0.4

Hi All,

I was asked to test a beta version of basICColor 4.0 display on my EIZO CG21 and I found my images where appearing a little flatter when compared to the basICColor 3.0.4 version. When calibrating with basICColor 4.0 there was more detail in the shadow areas and the white point/cast was more yellow, even though the same settings where set at the calibration stage i.e 6000K white point, Gamma: L*, Luminance: Maximum.
I still prefer to calibrate with basICColor 3.0.4 as my images look very accurate in colour and detail when comparing my digital proofs under our GTI - EVS Color Viewer to softproofing the same images in Photoshop with our in-house profiles.

Would anyone like to comment?
