Hi Buckhard,
"Simulation > None" essentially turns off CMYK colormanagement, while
leaving calibration intact. CMYK will print like in "Quick" mode,
using pure machine colors but keeping linearization and max density.
"Simulation > Off" turns off CMYK colormanagement, CMYK will print
with raw, uncalibrated machine values. "Simulation > Off" is not
available on all Fiery systems.
Hope that helps,
Karsten
Hi Rob
Doesn't "Simulation > None" only turn off rgb-cmyk-simulation while
keeping the output profile active? I cannot say "None" for the
output in the Colorwise setup or in the client's driver menu and
have the choice only between my managed output profiles in a Fiery
X12 RIP. I want to profile different paper stocks in a Xerox DC12.
