Wow... this is the part of color management we will never be able to
solve, at least until some technology arrives to produce spectral
matches instead of metameric matches.
But for now it'd be good to at least know that the CMFs (Standard
Observer) used lay on the middle of such universe of perceptions. For
that, a statistically significant pool of heterogeneous people would
have to be used. Did I read that the 1931 CMFs were derived from about
only 10 people?
