Ken,

Based on my conversations with Epson engineers some
time ago, you won't have much luck with it.

You will probably need silverfast's scanning software.
 It has very nice color features and should get you
closer.

If you have a gray-scale ramp on a color target, you
can manually do it with the scanning software curves
tool.  This is hackish but works great.
