Hi Guys

I have a question regarding using an EyeOne Pro and MeasureTool to make spot measurements in emissive mode.  I have MT set to operate in emissive mode and selected Spot measurements.  I then created a new Photoshop file and made a pure black patch.  I then took a spot measurement of the black patch on my Apple HD Display.  The colour that comes up in the sample box in MT is nothing like the colour of the black patch I just measured.  The measurements are 6.6, 4.1, -5.2 (Lab).  Also, when I take a look at the monitor profile I created  I can see the measurement data (in the CIED field) for the reference file observation for RGB 0,0,0 and it shows 4.89, 2.36, -5.84.  I’d expect (a) the colour shown in the Sample patch of MT to look like the measured patch in PS and (b) the measurement data of the patch from MT to roughly correspond to the measurement recorded in my monitor profile (done with EyeOne Match).  What am I missing?

Thanks for the help

Steve
