"I have a series of JPEG images that were shot with a Nikon D100 using
tunsten white balance setting. Alas, these images should have been shot
using fuorescent white balance setting. In trying to correct for this color
imbalance in Photoshop, I tried the Cooling filter (80) found under Image >
Adjustment with some reasonable success."


Roger, if you have an area in one of the photos that you know should be neutral gray, you can use the photo filter to select that area, invert the color and apply it. I have found that to work amazingly well under conditions like this.
