I have a series of JPEG images that were shot with a Nikon D100 using
tunsten white balance setting. Alas, these images should have been shot
using fuorescent white balance setting. In trying to correct for this color
imbalance in Photoshop, I tried the Cooling filter (80) found under Image >
Adjustment with some reasonable success.

Any suggestions as to more robust methods?

Roger,

Have you tried "click-balancing" for the neutrals in Curves or Levels?
