That's not my experience. If you build a profile in ProfileMaker Pro with
and without the compensation check box on and apply this to two identical
images, then subtract them, there's a tiny difference (a few levels) . Both
prints appear identically using either Perceptual and Colorimetric tables.
The compensation check box is making a tiny change but that change is
showing up in all tables.
