My standard advice is now for all people using Tiger to regress to the
original PS distribution. The bug bit jus about all the apps using the
printing system except not InDesign and certainly not PS 9.0, but did
affect PS 9.01.
Another possible problem is spontaneous Epson driver corruption - I've
seen it happen repeatedly. Easiest solution: reprofile.
Last not least, if a system is on your clients desk, not your own, he
has ample opportunity to change print settings or reload the drivers
while you're not looking ;)

corrected in 10.4.8. It led to orange problems, and other bad driver level
printing on all makes, Epson , Canon, and HP. Printing the same from
InDesign showed the true colors.
