Yeah, especially given the time it takes for the Optix to complete readings.
But, you know, that tasks would'nt seem so impossible with the EyeOnePro.
Yes, the DTP4/Optix is about the slowest instrument, even its predecessor,
the DTP92 was faster. The Spectrolino is faster again.
I suspect that there's a speed/repeatability trade-off, especially when
measuring low light levels. The DTP92 allowed some programmability in
this, making it slow also on some of its settings, while the DTP94
just seems to be slow all the time :-) In compensation, it seems
to have a reputation as a very solid instrument.
