Oops! Meant to say I'm pretty sure the BasICColor display ISN'T using the same set of patches. ;)

As Terry stated, you can choose your patches in with Monaco Optix profile evaluation, but I thought you had to manually define them...if so, that would make using the Gracol Beta data extremely painful. ;)

recall Bruce Lindbloom many times stating on this List that only the cyan
and yellow were typically out of gamut on a good CRT.
I suspect some oranges are outside the gamut of the earlier Cinema displays, but I'll have to confirm that one. It wouldn't be too hard to determine if any patches were outside the gamut of you display. On the one hand, it would be good to use a standard set of patches to compare different monitors in how they display. On the other hand though, for those monitors whose gamut is limited, it can be misleading as to where the delta E values come from and ...not necessarily due to instrumentation, or software.
