Jim,

Are you talking about profiling mx4 and mx5 or just the calibration with mx3?

According to gmg - 10 min is enough for Z2100 mx3 chart.

I don't think you can really profile Z2100 with only build in i1.

Can you? without ANY external spectro for gamut files or mx4 /mx5 iterations?

I am getting involved with profiling an HPz2100 and using the on board
spectro with the GMG rip.

In the HP/GMG process you can set up a time delay before the HP measures the
color patches. So the printer prints the patches and then waits to pull the
paper back into the printer where the measurements take place. After the
measurements the print is cut.

So while you are waiting for the print to dry back you cant print anything.

Does anyone have any guidelines for how long one should wait before
measuring the patches.

Thanks

Jim Rich
