You have to have two separate graphic cards, or a card with two graphic
chips and output signals. I'm not familiar with the 9600Pro, so check this.
Here's an overview:
How to profile dual monitors on OS X. (Works the same whether you have two
graphic cards or a dual card with two graphic chips and output signals.)
1. Activate the "Multiple Monitor Features" on system level by going to
"System Preferences -> Displays" and pressing "Detect Displays".
2. Check the option "Show displays in menu bar".
3. Select the tab "Arrangements" and arrange your displays. Now you can
calibrate and profile each monitor.
4. Start i1Match and move the appearing main window on the monitor, which
you want to profile.
5. Perform the profiling process and save the profile. It should
automatically be set as default system profile.
To check or assign your current monitor profile:
1. Go to "System Preferences -> Displays -> Color".
2. Open "Displays" (if in the option "Show display in menu bar" was
activated). A window with a list of available monitor profiles will appear
on each monitor. The active profile will be marked.
When using dual monitors (master and slave) with Photoshop, Photoshop will
correct images for the display designated as the master, even when images
are viewed on the slave monitor. For this reason some projection monitors,
even after calibration and profiling, do not display accurate Photoshop
images. (To display accurately on a projection monitor, designated the
projector as the master.)
Hope this helps.

Subject: Daul Monitors
I'm fortunate enough to have a dual monitor setup to run PhotoShop.
Photoshop CS3
Mac G5
OSX 10.4.10
Dual Apple Cinema displays, ATI Radeon 9600/Pro video board.
I can't seem to get the monitors to agree. Using a medium grey desktop -
the one monitor is "reddish" and the other is "bluish".
I'm using Eye-One Match with the G/M Pro (rev B) sensor.
Is there a technique to getting dual monitors to match?
Or is there something in the setup that I may have overlooked?
TIA
Chuck Tintera
