that is right. I have checked it with a few existing scripts.
For all, who are needing color conversion via applescript, I have
written a short example for a workaround.
Here is the link for the download:

By running this script, you can select a source image, a source icc,
a destination icc.
The result are 4 new files (perceptual, relative, saturation and
absolute)
Maybe this helps someone.
