Hello List,
I appreciate everyone's comments and agree on two points.
1. Manufacturers should have a presence on this lists in order to set the
record straight, where necessary, when it comes to discussions that deal
with the workings of their creations.
2. The list should not be used as a sales tool.
For my part, I am not intending to push the idea of any manufacturer down
anyone's throat. The objective of the post is to educate and learn where we
can for the benefit of everyone participating in these discussions. In this
particular case the manufacturer concerned would like to participate and
better understand the requirements of the industry, through the people
shaping it.
We have had some good input and would like to acknowledge that we are now
starting our testing procedures as promised. Once we are happy, we shall
publish this data so everyone can have a good look and decide what needs to
be done next.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
All the best
Niall Coady
