I'm sure. Clemens' script didn't offer saturation as an option!
Do you refer to the ColorSyncScripting script or to the script based
on SIPS?
With the first one you are right!
The reason is very simple:
The ColorSync default dialogs only allow 3 buttons :-(
I didn't want to make the script to complicated, because it was just
made to check
the things we are talking about.
If you need the saturated intent, just make a search/replace
"perceptual" -> "saturation"
and save the script.
After starting the script you will have the options "saturation",
"relative" and "absolute" now.
If it is of a big interest, I can spend a little more time to make it
more stable and add all four rendering intents.
But this will take a little bit of time. The intention was to write a
script, that is easy to understand and everybody can play with.
I've saved your image "_DSC0140.jpg" as "_DSC0140.tif" and processed
it with the script based on SIPS.
Source ICC: Adobe RGB
Destination ICC: a CMYK profile with a meaningfull B2A2 table.
Every rendering intent results in a different image - as expected.
I can send you the images off list if you need it.
Rolf Gierling is getting the ERROR -176 with the ColorSyncScripting
script.
Does anyone else got this error with the script?

Clemens Beisch
