I've saved your image "_DSC0140.jpg" as "_DSC0140.tif" and processed
it with the script based on SIPS.
Source ICC: Adobe RGB
Destination ICC: a CMYK profile with a meaningfull B2A2 table.
Every rendering intent results in a different image - as expected.
I can send you the images off list if you need it.
No, I believe you :)
I'll take a look at the sips script. When I did my sips conversions
they were done from the command line. There were no errors and each
image was separated from RGB to CMYK - but all images were identical
(all looked to be relative). It also appears that John Gnaegy got the
same problem when using the command line.
Perhaps the profile type and construction are critical here?
Rolf Gierling is getting the ERROR -176 with the ColorSyncScripting
script.
Does anyone else got this error with the script?
I think that Rolf was the person who explained the error: "profile not
found".
I'll do some more exploration of sips and colorsyncscripting when I
finish work :-(
