I have observed that the wider dynamic range/histogram i ProPhoto RGB also gives more detail in highlight and shadow that I formerly lost in Adobe RGB.

The chip in the professional digital camera has a color range with a larger gammuth than Adobe RGB why not use it!

I therefore find it more professional to edit in ProPhoto with the extreme quality and then later deliver and convert to wanted colospace.

ProPhoto gives also exellent quality picures for merging high quality HDR images.
