Printing to Epson from PS3 beta on Intel Mac

I am trying to print from Photoshop PS3 beta on a new Intel 2x duocore tower to my Epson R2400. I have followed Epson instructions and first reset my printing system to remove the old driver, which I had installed in my ignorance. I restarted and used the Epson installer SPR2400 30a. However, in PS3 beta I still get Epson driver settings not available (lined through the options for settings, color management, etc.)

Anyone have suggestions on how to drive the Epson R2400 under OSX 10.4.8 out of PS3 beta? Or is that functionality not yet available?
