I can disagree with it.
As a scripter I'm comfortable enough with maths to work out the
economics of RF. The benefits for the photographer appear to be
pathetic from my calculations. Here's the SAA view on the licensing
model:
That isn't my point: if an individual decides that it's his preference
to license royalty-free, who are you (or anyone else) to tell that
person not to use that business model? You may not believe that it's
optimal for that person, but it's that person's business to succeed or
fail.
I know that it might not be too good for competitors, but that's just
the market in action...
