The Z2100/3100 printers will print via user generated profiles as well, with full flexibility to print one image via a built in profile, and the next via a user generated profile. I found I could build a custom profile for the printer by hand (from previously printed targets, obviously) in less time that the printer could create an automatic one, and have both ready for testing when the auto profling was completed.
